ADSS Fiber optic cable, nonmetallic construction, fibers are positioned into a loose tube, tube filled with water resistant filling compound, then tubes and fillers are straded around a FRP, then filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Then the cable is completed with a PE or AT outer sheath.

     ADSS  Fiber Optic Cable

Description

Fiber optic cable ADSSNonmetallic construction, 2~48 fibers, are positioned into a loose tube,

tube filled with water resistant filling compound, then tubes (and fillers) are stranded

around a central strength member (FRP), then filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress.

Then, the cable is completed with a PE or AT (anti tracking) outer sheath.

Features

◇ Non-metal structure, good insulation, anti-thundercan be installed with power lines & multi-thunder area;

◇ Dedicated design satisfy different spans requirements, the largest span more than 1000mts;

◇ Light weight and small diameter reducing the load caused by ice & wind, and reducing

  the load on the tower and backstops;

◇ Excellent performance of tensile strength and can be work in bad climate environment ,

  long lifetime up to 30 years;

◇ Operating Temperature : -40~+60 ℃

Application:

The actual status of overhead power lines is taken into full consideration when ADSS cable is being designed.

For overhead power lines under 110kV, PE outer sheath is applied.

For power lines equal to or over 110kV, AT outer sheath is applied.

The dedicate design of aramid quantity and stranding process can satisfy the demand on various spans.

Standards:

SHG ADSS cable complies with Standard IEEE P1222 as well as IEC 60794-1.
